As the dismal specter of lockdown rolled on to its spluttering end, Essex three - piece Artificially Yours release their eponymous debut album.
Available on CD, digitally and limited edition vinyl the album features eleven explosive tracks that encapsulate the mood of these strange and uncertain times, including the latest single ‘Supermarket Sound’ which sees the band drop another jar of marmite in the tined goods isle of life.
As the greed of the power ridden few shapes the dystopian existence of the many, we really need dissenting voices now more than ever and they do not come fiercer and more feral with a sound to match than Artificially Yours.
Formed a couple of years ago by lead vocalist Chat, Artificially Yours subsequently took shape with the addition of like-minded electronic collaborators Grumb and Ads. The band’s instinctive and organic approach to their music together with an incendiary live show saw them quickly attract the attention of the likes of Vive Le Rock, Clash Magazine, DIY, Loud & Quiet and The Morning Star, and at radio John Kennedy at Radio X, Gary Crowley – BBC Radio London, Mark Riley - BBC6 Music.
