TEENAGE MOTHERS

Formed in Melbourne, Australia by Raph Brous. Teenage Mothers have played shows with some of their favourite Australian artists such as Lost Animal, Circle Pit, Deaf Wish, White Walls, Chook Race among others. The album track ‘I Don’t Wanna Play The Game’ is a duet with Australian cult punk legend Jack Mannix.

They’ve also toured Australia with The Kills and Palma Violets and opened for the legendary Lydia Lunch at the London show during the singer’s last UK tour.

‘I Wish I Was Beautiful’, released on CD and available digitally, was produced and mixed by Jim Sclavunos the esteemed drummer from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Grinderman and The Cramps.  Featuring eleven great new tracks, the album was recorded at Birdland Studios in Melbourne where the late great Rowland S. Howard of The Birthday Party made his classic solo records.
